Project involved the construction of a bridge, settling basin structure, salmon rearing channels, multiplate road crossing, storm sewer and watermain construction, light weight cellular concrete road fill, roadworks and soft landscaping works. This project was the second phase of the City of Burnaby’s arterial road construction in the south bend area. This project involved several measures to enhance the ability of fish to spawn and exist in the Byrne Creek system.
