Southwest Contracting Ltd. is a civil construction company specializing in site preparation, excavation, underground utility installation as well as environmental civil works, road building, shoring, seismic anchor and horizontal drain work. Southwest has operated from its lower mainland base for over 30 years serving both the public and private sectors. Southwest is guided by an innovative and highly experienced management team that can draw upon a large fleet of heavy earth-moving and drilling equipment.

Southwest has a long history of working with major development companies in the Lower Mainland. Many projects have been completed, through the process of tendering and/or negotiating, with developers such as Concert Properties, Concord Pacific, Bosa Construction, Appia Development, Wesbild Holdings and the Bentall Corporation. While the bulk of our excavation work has been in the Vancouver area, our shoring, drilling and grouting division travel the West Coast and beyond to serve our clients needs.
