This project involved the cutting-out and replacement of several sections of the crude oil line supplying the Chevron Refinery in Burnaby. Works had to be coordinated with Trans Mountain Pipe Line Company, Chevron Canada Limited, City of Burnaby and local residents.

Each repair involved exposing the pipeline, pumping the crude oil from the system, cutting-out of pipe sections that did not meet specification, installing new pipe to replace damaged the sections, welding and coating of the new pipe, testing of new piping and backfill and restoration of all municipal roads. All works were undertaken without incident and as scheduled.
